One slot takes approximately 6 seconds era.
One Epoch has 600 slots, approximately 1 hours
One Era consists of six epochs and lasts around 6 hours.

To properly understand, I will first give a brief explanation of the process behind staking KSM and then show a timeline demonstrating when you will receive your first rewards.

The process of staking KSM is very similar to DOT. The main difference being that things happen about 4x faster on the Kusama network. To nominate your Kusama you will have to vote up to 16 validators. Starting from the 6th epoch, these validators will go through an election process where the ones selected will become part of the active validator set. IE these validators will be elected to validate next era's blocks. In the following era after the election, active validators will be responsible to validate blocks and will receive rewards for doing so. They will then distribute those rewards to their nominators in the subsequent era.

Lets say that you voted to nominate 16 validators in era E0:

E0: End of era the election will take place (Up to approx. 6 hours)
E1: Active validators will validate blocks (approx. 6 hours)
E2: Rewards from the nomination in N1 will be distributed.

For simplicity sake P2P pays out rewards daily.

The process of election and validating is repeated, meaning you will receive rewards every era (6h) after you receive your first one.
